Random Pictures from the week

I won't have my PL ready this week, have been busy with the kids home and getting ready to leave town for this week. My oldest is graduating from college and I will be there to celebrate this day with her. So excited and proud of this girl, she has worked hard and both in school and in her life. She is the best and I love her bunches. Can't wait to see her smile and hug her. So here's a some pictures from the past week showing you what we've been up too. Hope everyone is enjoying their June so far. We've had some hot days and days with hail and storms. We just got our pool up and will be swimming soon even though it's barely sunny and only about 70 that won't stop the kids though. How we spent our first day of summer vacation

Today has been a perfect first day of summer vacation. Even the weather says it's summer with a hot humid 92degree day for us. So of course we went to the pool, of course we had pizza (no cooking) yes indeed it was a good day. I didn't get to capture everything since I'm trying to live more in the moment and play more and listen more so excuse some of the blurry or bad photos. A couple highlights of the day were:

The kids played together a lot with no fighting, yippeee
Summer vacummed/ straightened the shoes, oh yeah she knows the way to my heart
We made a healthy smoothie and everyone liked it
We made sandwhiches with cookie cutters and we ate them
The kids rode their bikes and played BBall while listening to the new LemonAde Mouth CD
The kids read a lot today, mostly Sam which is great
The rest of our day is in the pictures below, I hope tomorrow is a good day for us too.
P.S. Almost forgot the 45 minute nap I took after dinner, yep a nap is always good.

Project Life May 30 to June 4

Can you believe we are 6months into the year already. I'm so happy that my PL has been caught up so far. This week though I haven't ordered pictures, there are tons of them and I plan on adding extra PP. I'm adding my photos from my red/white/blue post I did last week then also the regular ones you will see today. I still had a hard time choosing them this week, so many photos going on here of the summer fun we are having and last day of school activities. I also included a photo of myself ( we all need to do this more) wearing my new clothes that are in smaller sizes. It felt so good to shop for ME for once and to buy jean capris in a size 10 WOW can't remember the last time I did that. My shirt is also a small and feels good and not baggy like I usually do. So I have decided to include some photos of myself wearing my new clothes every couple weeks or more if I can just because I'm happy and for my cool styling friend Andrea to see. I also am adding in a magazine article on THE NUMBERS IN AMERICA, it was cool to read and thought perfect for my PL week. Hope everyone is enjoying their first week of June and the start of summer vacation for some of them. Today is the kids last day of school and we are so ready for summer and excited to play and relax. This week on our list to do is get our pool up and visit our favorite parks, sleep in, make new smoothies, try new foods for lunch, go to the outdoor ymca to swim, I have to get packed and ready for Florida next week.

My recent layouts

It was so nice to have time during the long Memorial weekend to scrap. I actually made 3 layouts and love them. It's been a few weeks since I've scrapped and these photos were just calling my name. They all came together pretty quickly, which makes me happy. There is still a pile of photos still waiting for me though, hope to do more over this weekend too before kids are home on summer break.
