Project Life & Sept. 30 day list #6

I kept my Project Life nice and simple this week after last weeks massive amount of photos and stories. Hoping to keep it under control since my album is packed right now and I'm hoping to keep it all in album. Thinking next year I will get one of each album Becky has for us to pick from. They both look amazing. I hope everyone's long weekend went well. We were busy and crazy so it's good to be back on schedule today. Thanks for visiting and for you comments.

During the month of September I will be doing a list a day for the whole month. It's been so much fun doing this again. It's a blog with 3 fun ladies who give us a prompt everyday for a list and then you make a list however way you want. Some are simple others are creative and artsy. I'm trying to make mine creative and using my office supplies and scrap stash. To see my lists so far just scroll down past my PL photos and check them out. Sam had his first travel soccer game. It wasn't good, very sad as they lost 12-0. Poor guys tried their hearts out but just couldn't score. We are with a new team this year and it feels weird without his old team which I'm sure with them we would have won or at least scored a few goals. This is going to be a looong season.
Rich took a last minute half day and came home to enjoy reading his new book in the sun/shade before the kids got home. He was out there for 2 hours. The both of us like the simple things in life, just doing this made his whole day happier.
Summer was so sweet and went out and golfed in the yard with Sam. They were so cute and funny together. So glad for these moments between them. Rich had just been out there too.
I love love this picture and it brings back so many memories of them laying like this about 10 years ago. All lined up watching tv together. We would do this and watch 7th heaven, oh man do I miss that show.
My nieces over one day after school. Camryn wouldn't look at camera, she doesn't like me taking pictures anymore. Thankfully Ryan still lets me most of the time. Lucky is hoping they share with him.
We took Sam to a BEYBLADE event at our local Toys R Us. He's been waiting for 2 weeks to go and have fun with other kids who like this toy. They were very generous with the prizes and he got 4 new ones, trading cards, stickers and coupons for more. He was the most experience one there and helped the clerk put them together since she had no idea how to. Such a nice kid he is.

Sept.2011 list #6 your favorite color combos & project life update

Here is my list for day #6 and it's full of color as you can see. So happy to have another fun page to do. This one took me over an hour to do because of finding all these cool color combos to show you. It was worth the time it took to see how pretty it looks. The prompt for today was your favorite color COMBOS instead of just color. This is the first year I've been playing more with color and finding some I like. Blue has always been my very favorite but I don't use it much for my house and decorations. I do have blue clothing though. I've actually been afraid of color and paints because it's too overwhelming and was afraid to pick the wrong color to paint with. My walls stayed white for years till finally my mom painted them for me. Well white is my new love for color now and I'm ready to paint my walls white again and add pops of color around the room. It seems most of my color combos do have to have some white in there somewhere too. This page was fun and I think at the end I might add another page of colors to it. It was hard to narrow it down to just these but they are my most favorite ones right now.
Thanks for reading and your comments ladies, love reading them. I'm still working on my Project Life pictures for today and may not get them up till later today or sometime this week. I am still going to take pictures of blue things this week for my theme in project life if anyone wants to do so also. Hope everyone had a great 3 day weekend. We did but it was way too fast and busy.

Sept 2011 list #5.... What APPS would you want ??

My list for today is short and sweet. Most of you know I'm not that techie and can't do anything but the basics on my computer so today's list was a challenge for me. Thankfully the girls made it more fun by sharing their ideas for FUN IMAGINARY APPS which was more my style. So after some reading of the ideas there and thinking of my own here is my little list. Wasn't feeling to crafty either but that's ok, my list is done. I am curious to know though for my friends who aren't doing the list what APPS would you like to make up???!! Kinda fun just to think about them. Hope everyone had a good weekend. My weekend was pretty good, nice cold weather for us this week which I'm happy about. Day #4 list..... The perfect Sunday for me

This was another fun list to make. I LOVE LOVE Sunday's. It's the only day my hubby is home all day with us, he works half days on Sat. We start our day with pancakes and the newspaper. I try not to sleep in and head to the track. The kids do watch tv for about 3 hours in the morning then I tell them to get up and head outdoors or to a family fun activity. If I can squeeze in scrap time and my project life updates during the day I am HAPPY. I love that Rich likes to cook on the weekends, so much easier. I love spending this time all together and some Sundays the kids don't like our ideas or don't get along but I try to keep the happy feeling going all day. So Happy Sunday everyone!! Oh and for this page it was fun to cut up our Sunday newspaper to make my page feel more like a Sunday.

Day #3 for September lists: Who Do I love???

I had so much fun with this page. It feels like Valentine's day from making all these hearts. So far these lists are all happy and easy to do, thank goodness. I was trying to cut up pictures to put on the right hand side but they just didn't look right. After several hours of frustration and almost giving up I thought of making this collage instead. These are becoming a personal favorite for me, love squeezing in so many photos. It took me all day but I'm glad it came together the way I wanted. Thanks for reading!!

Day #2 of September list

Here is my list for day #2 and it made me happy just making it. I played around with my ideas this morning first then went shopping and found these cute smile face stickers that were perfect for showing how happy these things make me. My 2 challenges for this project is to make each page a little different from the rest and to add COLOR to my pages since I love using white. It's been so much fun to read the other lists from some talented and fun ladies also. Thanks to everyone who stops by and reads this and I love love reading the comments you leave me too. Happy September & 30 days of lists is back!!!

Happy September!!! I'm so excited it's finally September first!!! WHY DO YOU ASK??? Well since you asked, it's time for another round of "30 DAYS OF LISTS" like the one I did back in March. The ladies who put it together the first time got such a great response they are doing it again. Today was the first day and it was like Christmas eve last night for me. I tossed and turned all night because my mind kept going to the list and what would the theme be for today. Well I think they picked a perfect list for today. WHAT ARE YOUR GOALS FOR SEPTEMBER!! This is so perfect for me right now because I have tons to do this month before the holidays are upon us. So here is my first page done TODAY ALREADY!!
I'm just using a 3 ring binder with dividers in it, there is one for each day of the month or I might do some as two pages, we will see. I love office supplies so that is what most of my pages will be made with. I plan on posting daily if time allows. I'm going to try and upload a button for you to click on if you'd like more information and want to join the fun. It was $6 to join but I just couldn't resist BECAUSE I LOVE TO MAKE LISTS!!
