Today was a mix of no school, 70 degrees day, Rich taking a half day from work. I decided to use my camera for most of our day and tell the story of our day. So glad I did this because it was a PERFECT DAY, those don't happen all the time and when they do it's so AWESOME!! So this week I'm thankful for my family and for magical unplanned fun days.
Some of the pictures were taken by me, others by the kids out the windows while driving and I took some self-timer ones of me, HOORAY!! By the way it was election day and that's why no school since we use some of our schools for voting polls, kinda crazy but also a nice bonus day for the kids. So glad it worked out with the warm sunny day we had, it really makes a difference. Thinking this might be our last warm day of the year and we better prepare for snow that's coming soon. So enjoy my pictures and hope all of you get to have these kinda magical days too, keep them close to your heart. Happy weekend!

I sure miss that 70 degrees today! It's a perfect fall morning but cold. Your photos of your day are really wonderful. You captured some sweet moments - I especially love the photos of YOU and the one of the cat taking a nap on the back of the couch, too.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing in this experience with me! I appreciate our friendship.
I love fun days like that! Good for you!
ReplyDeleteWow, I've never heard of no school for election day1 We've had some gorgeous fall days here too--but last night we had a few snowflakes. Ahhhh! Not yet!!
ReplyDeleteThank you ladies for stopping and your comments. I knew you'd like all these, maybe it's too many photos though now that I'm reading it. So thankful for all of you readers.
ReplyDeleteI don't think there is anything more special than magical days spent with your family. I am so glad that you shared them with us.
ReplyDeleteMy children are now grown and I miss those special days of "no plan" fun! You captured your day beautifully. I also use Project Life. I'm up on my pictures, but a little behind on my journaling. You asked about the leaves I used on my Gratitude book. They are paper doilies I found at the $1 store. There are 32 in a package, just enough for this project. Thanks for your kind comments!
