First photo is the low temp we are having now after that big heat wave from last week. We had to pull out the winter coats and hats again, the furnace is back on, no windows are open and not much playing outside going on. This put a damper on everyone's moods this week, esp. for me!!
HOORAY FOR A NEW WASHER!! I forgot to mention in last week's PL that our washer broke. It was 23 years old, guess it was time. We didn't plan on this happening so we could only get a washer but now I really want a new dryer also. I get happy just seeing this and doing the laundry now.
We got our first tulip blooming today, hooray for spring!! The only bad part is all the weeds that have taken over, hate weeds. This weekend Sam and I went out there and pulled some of them out. We have a few more tulips blooming now also. The kids love seeing these each year and count them.
We went to a mall that we haven't been to in 8 years. It was ok , kinda small compared to our other mall. We did see this cool thing though. You can put in different coins and see which one goes around and lands in the hole first. We used all types of coins and the pennies always won.
Renee babysat her cousins for the first time, they were all excited!! She did a great job and made some money which she loves to do!! The girls came over the next morning and had pancakes with us. Ryan ate more then I've ever seen in all her 8 years combined. I guess she loves pancakes the most!!
Rich and I had played on the Wii again and this time I took a picture of him winning. He always beats me at tennis.
So that wraps up my PL for the week. Hard to believe we are into April already, time just seems to be flying even faster now for us. Summer just headed off early this morning on her field trip, she's so excited and can't wait. DeleteOh no! Your warm weather seems to have waddled away for a minute! Gahhh! I just mentioned that in an email to you! I hope it walks back your way very soon!YAY for new washer! I swear by top loaders. I had to have a front loader when they became popular and it was very expensive, did not clean my clothes nearly as well as my previous machine, and clunked out in a year. Boo! I love tulips and I am so jealous. I keep saying I am going to buy some to plant and photograph. I love the mall, but we rarely go. Twice a year maybe. Soon. We all need new clothes for summer. Awe she babysat?! She is growing up! I love this picture of the girls! They all looks so sweet sitting there. Haha! Wii! We play too. John says it's like going on a date. Funny, funny guy.... ReplyDeleteYes that warm weather just blew out of town and hasn't returned, so sad. I didn't know about front load washers, hope mine lasts for a looonngg time. We've always had tulips and now I'm ready to get something different. Renee is growing, she now bends over to hug me, sigh!! I think of the Wii as our date also, fun at home and it's free!!
