GREEN PROJECT #4 DOODLES!!!!

This project used all my greens again, love that this week was mixed with all my greens. I'm loving all the shades of green and their names for them. Wouldn't that be a fun job to have, working at Crayola and picking names for all these beauties!! Sign me up for that job!!  So here I took a black sharpie and just made a random doodle all over the page, no plan just free hand.  Then comes my favorite part, using all my green shades of crayons, sharpies, gel pens, colored pencils to color it in. It looks even better in person I think. See that smude on the right side of paper, someone was holding it with dirty fingers. I had just finished it and was going to redo it but liked it too much and didn't have time. This took me a little time, I tried to use each color once then used each one again that I liked. Doing this techinque is fun and will be used again in more of my pages. My plan next time is to do this with my left hand and eyes closed, just for fun and see what how it turns out.
Then I decided to add more to this page even though I actually like it like this. See the results below!

I had fun adding a little bit to this each day over the week. It's a mix of black sharpie and black pen, they both looked worked out good for this. I was nervous at first and afraid I'd totally mess it up, but I think it came out ok. This is something I will for sure do again and again!! I have one more project for tomorrow, it will be going up late like tonight's, it's a busy end of the week for me right now.

Thanks for all the sweet comments on my blog this week, glad you like all my green. It's been the perfect week to show green since we are having extreme higher then normal temps here. We have the windows open, the fans on, tanks/shorts/ mowing the grass. It's like we skipped over spring and have summer!! Really hoping it stays this way, we are loving it and of course the down side is the inside of my house is suffering. So next week I'll be laying low on the computer and doing a much needed clean up around the house and my art/scrap space needs a HUGE CLEAN UP!! Have a great day !!!

GREEN PROJECT #3 SPRING TIME WREATH LOVE IT!!!

I AM SOOOOO EXCITED ABOUT TODAY'S PROJECT. I GOT THE INSPIRATION FROM MY VERY CREATIVE FRIEND BONITA ROSE, SHE ALWAYS HAS THE YUMMIEST THINGS ON HER BLOG. SHE CREATES NEW THINGS DAILY AND ALWAYS AMAZES ME WITH HER IDEAS. WHEN SHE POSTED THIS ONE I KNEW THIS WOULD BE FOR ME. I OWE A HUUUUGGEEE THANK YOU TO MY MOM, SHE GOT ALL THE SUPPLIES FOR ME AND SHE IS DOING ONE OF THESE ALSO. SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS AND IT WAS PERFECT FOR GREEN WEEK AND OUR EARLY SPRING WEATHER WE ARE HAVING RIGHT NOW.
SO TO START WITH YOU NEED A GREEN WREATH, MY MOM GOT A WHITE ONE AND PAINTED IT GREEN, YEP SHE'S THAT GOOD!! SHE TOOK APART THESE PRETTY FLOWERS FROM RIBBON AND I BOUGHT THESE ADORABLE STICK PINS THIS MORNIG, AND OF COURSE YOU NEED THE GREEN FUN FUR TO WRAP AROUND THE WREATH. I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF FUN FUR BEFORE BUT MY MOM KNEW RIGHT AWAY WHAT IT WAS AND WENT OUT AND GOT ME SOME, SHE IS THE SWEETEST MOM EVER!! SO ARE YOU READY TO SEE THE PICTURES, IT CAME OUT SO PRETTY!!

LOOK HOW PRETTY IT IS, LOVE THE GREEN AND SOFT COLORS OF THE FLOWERS. I DECIDED ON A YELLOW RIBBON TO BRIGHTEN IT UP A BIT. THIS WAS PRETTY EASY TO MAKE AND I DID HAVE A FEW ISSUES WITH THE FUN FUR BUT IT WAS FUN AND WAY OUT OF MY COMFORT ZONE, LOL  I NEED TO DO THESE THINGS MORE OFTEN. I DECIDED TO HANG IT ON THE COAT HOOK BY THE FRONT DOOR, THE SUN IS SHINING ON IT AND THIS WAY EVERYONE WILL SEE IT.  THANK YOU THANK YOU BONITA FOR INSPIRING ME WITH YOUR WREATH. PROJECT LIFE AND #2 GREEN PROJECT

This month is flying by, wish it would slow down. We've had great weather this week and so a lot of time is spent outdoors, HOORAY!! I'm showing a few of my Project Life pictures for the week and then I am posting my 2nd GREEN PROJECT for this week.
Here is my nieces coming over on the bus to play with Sam, they love coming over and playing.

That's all we did was hang out in the driveway enjoying the warm weather.

Isn't this gorgeous, probably my fave picture of the week. This was about 7:10 in the morning. Deb I think you will like this photo, thought of you when I took it. LOVE THAT SKY!!

This is what it looked like in the front yard, the sun was shining into the backyard and those big clouds from the above picture were moving in. I love seeing natures beauty each morning!!

Shopping for spring clothes and for field trips, they had fun shopping.

My favorite soup was on sale for a $1 a can, HOORAY!!  I eat this everyday for lunch, so yummy!

We grilled out to celebrate this WARM weather we are enjoying!!

Here is my GREEN PROJECT #2. I decided to do an art journal page for this week. On the right side is all my green acrylic paints with a little bit of gold sprinkled in. Click on the image to see better. On the right side is all my green watercolors mixed together, I like how it looked all mixed in. Came out just the way I wanted. On Friday I will post how my journal page comes out. Next week I will show you the full week and my pages for Project Life, I need to order more pictures and get it ready. It's mostly made up of collages for all the special occassions we had this week. I'll be back tomorrow with my #3 Green Project!!! Have a great day everyone!!

MY FIRST GREEN PROJECT FOR THE WEEK

This is my first project for the week, I HAD to make a house with all green. It was so much fun and all those paper strips make me HAPPY!! There is also ribbon trims which I've had for a long time and those buttons have been in my drawer over a year. I started by using my Crayola watercolor paint, all the greens actually. It was so pretty when it dried, forgot to take a picture. The next step was a little squirt of green spray on it, there's a bit more under the house, lol.  Picking out all my green PP wasn't easy since I loved them all but narrowed it down to these ones. Meant to save room for a tree but I kinda like the flowers now. I used acrylic paint around the edges and then I had to put white on it so I little clouds and white smudges/smears made me HAPPY again.
I have my next two ideas in the works and I must say the green is growing on me. My favorite is mixing all the green of whatever together on my projects, so you will be seeing lots of greens this week. Still have to think of some more ideas but I know they will come to me. We have had hot temps all weekend also and OUTSIDE in the GREEN grass and trees is where we have been. Can't think of a better time to think of GREEN things to inspire me!!

Here is a pile of all my greens I pulled out this weekend to get me thinking. Doesn't it look fun!! I forgot about my crayons till last night, so many pretty shades of them. So excited for this week. WHAT'S MAKING ME HAPPY RIGHT NOW

HAPPY ST. PATRICKS DAY EVERYONE!! THOUGHT I'D THROW IN A HAPPY POST TODAY WITH A SPRINKLE OF GREEN. REMEMBER I'M DOING PROJECTS NEXT WEEK ALL WITH GREEN IN THEM. I HAVE 2 LADIES JOINING ME , SUSAN WHO I GOT THE IDEA FROM WHEN SHE DID A WEEK OF BLACK LAST MONTH AND MY NEW FRIEND AIMEE SAID SHE WOULD JOIN IN ALSO. IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE FANCY OR EXPENSIVE JUST HAVE FUN WITH GREEN AND POST IT ON YOUR BLOGS FOR US TO CHECK OUT. I'M GOING TO POST MINE DAILY IF I CAN OR DO A BIG WRAP UP OF GREEN NEXT FRIDAY. MORE LISTS AND GOING GREEN IDEA

Here are a few more of my lists from this week. This one for DAY 12..... What superpowers would you want...... I liked this one and funny thing is Sam had just asked me this question the day before.  I don't need to be like superman with my powers nope these ones would help me better, lol  I'll leave the real superpowers to Sam and let him save the world,lol!!! I might just color this in or add something around the shapes???

DAY 13.... 10 Years Ago..... This was fun and I made a list right away with first things on my mind. So hard to believe what a different life it was back then. Oh and I had never even touched the computer back then either. Wish I had known about scrapbooking at that time, it wasn't till 3 years later. I HAD  A BOY!! I will always remember that time because of that. My heart was feeling full and happy because of my little family. Some days I want to go back there again and just soak up my kids, they were all at the perfect age. Not for a minute did I think of what having two teenage girls would be like in 10 years, it seemed all 4 of them would stay little forever back then.

DAY 14.... Tools & Gadgets & Toys..... most of you know I"m not a real gadget girl, too afraid of them I guess and breaking them, lol.... I did manage to write down a few faves though. Not sure I will have much to say on this topic ever but who knows maybe in 10 years I will want every gadget.

I want to say a big THANK YOU THANK YOU for all the wonderful comments in my last post, made my day and Renee's. I appreciate all the encouragement from you in my art and even my kids. It really does help motivate me and keep me inspired. I have decided to create things in green next week for St. Patrick's Day this weekend. The plan is to do one for each day Mon-Fri and I will post daily or one big wrap up on Friday. It would be fun if any of you would like to join me, even just little simple projectes of any kind would be fun. Let me know in your comments so I can visit your blog and see what you make. When I have little challenges like this it does inspire me and pushes me to try something new or even just something I've already done before that makes me happy. Project Life 2 weeks caught up!! LOVE IT!

Close up of left side. Love the stories and pictures this week, it's filled with blessings and sweet memories. The little heart tag in upper left is from a set I got at my friend Bonita Rose etsy shop. If you love lace, trims and more visit her shop. I have her button on the right side of my blog. This week was so hard to finish, trying to decide on how to include the tragedy in Chardon. In the end I have that journal card and I wrote on the back and going to include paper articles and my thoughts written down in a folder for the back of the album. The paper on the bottom is a note from my cousin who I babysit for, she always gives me an update and menu for the kids the days they come over, love love this. Oh and the writing on my weekly date card at top is our new motto in this house. That's one thing we will take away from the tragedy is to celebrate the "COMING HOME" of each other. I'm so blessed each day now that my kids walk thru that door, will never take that for granted again. We've have hugged more these two weeks then the last month.

Close up of the right side. I like all the fun journal cards I did and made it pop more. I did surprise the kids with DQ for Leap Day! I finally remembered to use a "HELLO" card like Ali Edwards does on her pages.  The heart is from Renee's new art and the Malley's napkin she brought home for me. She went on kinda a date but with a guy "FRIEND" turns out the dad went to school with me and they all had a good night. The boy she went out with had a birthday and to make it special his parents said he could take someone and he picked Renee instead of a usual guy friends. She will like looking back at this memory I think. So that does it for this week. It feels good to have it done and move on.

Here's the full spread from last week. I love seeing all the hearts since that's all I'm about right now. There is a mix of Renee's and mine which makes me happy. This is what PL is for me this year, really trying to get more of me in their and what my creative side is about. I also have some collages which is also my big time favorite for this year. This week had lots more stories and it took me a few hours to narrow it down to this. Just trying not to make my album so thick this year but it's getting harder to do,lol  Thankful again for sweet memories and my family and friends!!

Close up of the left side. We had a surprise visit from my sister and nieces while I was babysitting. These cousins haven't seen each other in a long time. Sienna was over the moon excited about seeing Ryan. They use to play together all the time before Ryan started school. So glad they stopped by and I got some photos. Sienna has finally started painting, she loved it and wants to do more. HOORAY FOR PAINTING!! The little photo is my fave for the week, these two were so cute taking a little drink break, look at those eyes. MELT MY HEART!! I included a confetti of hearts in the one pocket, love it. In the bottom corner is a collage of my lists from this week.

A PERFECT SPRING SUNDAY IN PHOTOS

We had the perfect spring weather kinda day. Slept in and just played and played all day. The kids were outside all day and lots of bball was played, walks with the dog, running around the yard, Sam and I played tennis, I painted and scraped and did my lists. I soooo wish all Sundays could be this good. Heck any day should be this good. The rain and little cooler weather is back tomorrow so glad we enjoyed this spring day today though. We are all sore and tired, will feel good to get in bed tonight. Hope everyone else had a good Sunday also. Can you feel March going by so fast!! I can .
