PROJECT LIFE !!!!!!

Here is the two page spread for last week, simple with a few homemade things. I LOVE the collages this week. This weeks is making me really happy, really good memories here to remember. I did forget the artwork that will be included darn it, will post that later. IT was our anniversary last Sunday and Sam wrote us a note that was so cute and Sienna has been drawing more with me and she made her first hearts and a picture of me. She is sooo funny when drawing and says the sweetest things, she takes her time and really thinks about it. We are working on flowers, they are hard to draw and she gets frustrated. Will show these later on, too sweet. Ok onto the close ups.

Here is the right side, it's all about last Sunday. It was our anniversary and we had a family day out which was fun. In that bottom right collage is a visit at the farmpark. They had brand new baby pigs, our favorite to see. We didn't want to leave them there, could have taken them home with us. Click on the image to see better, all 9 of them feeding on their mama, sooooo cute is that little runt. We saw many sheeps/lambs also. A quick stop at the mall to get my glasses then onto Scooter Dogs for lunch. This is our first time there this year, they open in March and we were so happy they were opened that day. It was so nice just to talk about our wedding over the course of the day to the kids, can't believe how time has flown by. Thankful for this man and my family and the wonderful wedding day we had.

Here is the left side, love this side also. I did some cute journal cards with my fave colors of the week. Just something cute and fun to remember and then decided to do a collage also, love how it turned out (bottom right collage). In the first photo on left is a photo I'm glad to have. This was the first night with Summer away on her trip and these two were in Renee's bed hanging out and getting along. Sam asked if he could sleep in Summer's bed while she gone and Renee said it was ok with her. So cute these two were, they got along the whole time Summer was gone. In the collage on upper right is Sienna and Colt playing with plastic eggs I brought out for them. That's all they did all day was play with them, she was soooo good to him and shared them. In the bottom left is a photo of Summer dressed nicely for school, she doesn't do this often and was thrilled she said ok to a photo. The two journal spots are empty (where the pink cards are showing from next weeks pages) for now, waiting for Summer to fill in some cards for me about her Washington D.C. trip. She had a great time but very tired from all the walking they did. So that's another wrap up of PL, thanks for stoppying by.

NEW FAVORITE COLOR CRAZY !!

Hello new colors, aren't they pretty. I am happy to see purple popping up again, funny how that keeps happening. For some reason my posting isn't working right, keeps freezing up in the middle of my post, if anybody knows why it would do this please tell me how to fix it. This will be my 5th attempt at posting and this time I've decided not to add any text with the photos and hope it will work. This was my first page using these colors, just trying out the shades of purple to see what I like. Here's the rest and I will have more later on.

Well it froze up twice again but I kept clicking cancel and it would start over again. AAAHHH computers gotta love them and gotta hate them. So there's some peeks at what I've been playing with for a couple weeks now and am sure they will be around for a couple more.

I'm also going to be creating some pretty eggs this weekend or next week, more of an artsy coloring egg. No dyes like we've been using for years, but fun ones with paints and sharpies and q-tips and bubble wrap. I got the ideas from Julie Balzer blog the other day, she linked some ideas on her blog and I LOVE LOVE THEM!! Click on her button "BALZER" on the right if you'd like to see them.

Happy Friday everyone, we are starting our spring break today, HOORAY which means kids are home and I hope to squeeze in creative me time while I can. PROJECT LIFE

Hello Project Life!! This week I'm just sharing the pictures and will show the pages later on when the journaling is done. It will be a simple week this time.
First photo is the low temp we are having now after that big heat wave from last week. We had to pull out the winter coats and hats again, the furnace is back on, no windows are open and not much playing outside going on. This put a damper on everyone's moods this week, esp. for me!!

HOORAY FOR A NEW WASHER!! I forgot to mention in last week's PL that our washer broke. It was 23 years old, guess it was time. We didn't plan on this happening so we could only get a washer but now I really want a new dryer also. I get happy just seeing this and doing the laundry now.

We got our first tulip blooming today, hooray for spring!!  The only bad part is all the weeds that have taken over, hate weeds. This weekend Sam and I went out there and pulled some of them out. We have a few more tulips blooming now also. The kids love seeing these each year and count them.

We went to a mall that we haven't been to in 8 years. It was ok , kinda small compared to our other mall. We did see this cool thing though. You can put in different coins and see which one goes around and lands in the hole first. We used all types of coins and the pennies always won.

Renee babysat her cousins for the first time, they were all excited!! She did a great job and made some money which she loves to do!! The girls came over the next morning and had pancakes with us. Ryan ate more then I've ever seen in all her 8 years combined. I guess she loves pancakes the most!!

HAPPY AND RANDOM THOUGHTS

I wanted to share a few things that are making me happy and random thoughts today. First I have to give a big  THANK YOU THANK YOU for the lovely commetns on my Project Life post this week. It makes me smile reading them and seeing what you like from my pages. I love that some extra pops of color were added in, looks happy and SUMMERY/SPRINGY!!!! We are in spring but really the wather was like summer time. HOT HOT HOT!!  I hope everyone's having a good week and ready for April to come. So here's my list

Happy List....

1. I got my new washer and doing lots of laundry this week to catch up on it. YES THIS IS A HAPPY THNG. GOING TO THE LAUNDRYMAT ISN'T THAT FUN!!

2. My new glasses are in and I will get them this weekend, will post pictures!!

3. Our anniversary is this Sunday, so excited and love this day with my favorite man!! We are taking the kids to the local farmpark to see spring babies, LOVE THIS!!

4. DQ's Peanut Butter Bash, I"M HOOKED!!

5. Seeing my nieces a lot this week and getting lots of hugs from them

6. My new fave colors, will post this next week!!

7. Seeing the new blooms around the yard and everywhere we drive, color everywhere!!

8. Renee got a B on her Science midterm, sooooo awesome!!

9. My mom did a spring wreath like mine, it's soooo cute !!

10. Sonja, she is amazing and sooo wonderful to our family!!


Random thoughts....

1. Ali Edward's is doing WEEK IN THE LIFE in April!!!! Of course this is exciting and will be joining her. Sadly my WITL from last summer didn't isn't put together but that's not stopping me from trying again. She did this 2 springs ago and I love love how mine came out. This time will be neat because of little Colt being in it and what he's up to. Thinking of just doing it simple and adding it to my PL instead of whole album for it. Any one want to join the fun??? I promise you will LOVE IT!

2. In April they have a NATIONAL NO TV WEEK, I know it's a shocker for you tv lovers out there. Hello, ANNIE my dear sister who loves loves her tv. For me TV is ok but not a huge fan of it. My kids and I have done this a few times and they argue about it but we do it anyhow. To make it even more fun I call it NO ELECTRONICS WEEK!! Yep nothing that gets plugged in except the radio of course.  I am hoping the weather will be nice so we can spend most of it outdoors and lots of family time. Oh yea, my kids can't wait.... NOT!!  I will plan some crafts/activities/library trips and hopefully we will survive. BTW that means that you won't hear from me that week, I have to keep it real for the kids sake.  So anyone want to join us in this fun no electronics/no tv week???? C"MON  YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO!!!  WE CAN MUDDLE THRU IT TOGETHER!!

3. Summer has her 8th grade field trip to Washington D.C. next week, she will be gone for 3 days. The house will be strangely quiet and weird without her here. I don't know if I can go 3 days without seeing her and her smile. Same for you Kristin, I miss that smile sweetie!!

4. Spring break starts next Friday!!

5. The weather, it took a nose dive is what it did. Dropped so low we had to pull our the winter clothes and gear again. The heat has been on most days, wearing my fave hoodie again, no flip flops, no sketching on the deck, not much playing outside I'm not too happy about this at all.. want the warm weather to come back very soon and stay.

PROJECT LIFE CAUGHT UP 2 weeks

Hooray for my PL being caught up again, it was tough these past two weeks. I have miscalculated how many photos & collages to order and ended up with too many one week and not enough the other week. I'm happy with how it all turned out though. I have two weeks here to show you so I hope you enjoy them. Sorry for any glares and click on the images to see better if you need to.
Here is the left side, remember that gorgeous sky photo I showed you 2 weeks ago. I made a collage out of all them that morning and picked orange for the background color. I love how it turned out.

Here is the right side which is an extra for this week. I had to make another collage for this special cousin day we had. I love seeing all this orange to remind us of the warm sunny day we were having.

Here is the back of the extra insert, I made collages again. I couldn't just pick one photo so again LOVE LOVE creating collages to hold more. Summer has a field trip coming up and they have to dress up for it. She was soooo excited to find this cute dress so we had a little photo shoot once we got back home. We also got spring clothes while shopping and had lots of fun together.

I decided to make a collage for a 12 on 12th day, only I cheated and did it on the 11th. It was the start of a warm up we were getting here and we spent most of the day outside. I even went to the track this day with my nieces, they were soooo cute and had fun walking with me. I love these kinda Sunday's

Here is another collage on the back of the one above. So fun to add the green for St. Patrick's Day, warm weather again so we were outside. We even gave Lucky a bath that day and grilled out dinner.

Here is last week's spread. I addd some embellishments this time and my tags and art. I love seeing all the happy sunny colors for this week. We had hot temps and just hung out being kinda lazy and just soaking up the sun. The weather even bothered Lucky who layed on the cool kitchen floor most days. The weather really made everyone happy this week, no kids fighting or bad moods. Lots of hugs, laughs, love, fun, playing and basketball and popicles all week long. I can't wait for summer.

MORE FUN FUN LISTS!!!

Day 17..... FAVORITE DAYS OF THE YEAR.... I LIKED MAKING THIS LIST AND THINKING OF DAYS THAT WEREN'T JUST HOLIDAY RELATED. OF COURSE NOW I CAN THINK OF A FEW MORE TO ADD...... FIRST CORN/COB FROM OUR GARDEN....... WHEN THE KIDS LOSE A TOOTH....... CONFERENCE DAY AT SCHOOL....... XMAS BONUS DAY.  IT LOOKS LIKE 32 IS HARD TO READ SO CLICK ON IMAGE TO SEE BETTER IF YOU NEED TO, GOTTA LOVE THAT ONE!!!

DAY 18.... FAMILY TRADITIONS..... GOTTA LOVE THIS ONE!!!

DAY 19.... THIS ONE WAS SOOOO MUCH FUN, IT'S FILL IN THE BLANK AND I CHOSE THE WORD KIDS. WOULD LOVE TO SEE SOME OF YOUR TAKES ON THIS ONE. IT COULD BE WORK/FAMILY/SPOUSE ANYTHING REALLY. THINKING I SHOULD FRAME THIS SO THE KIDS SEE IT EACH DAY, LOL

DAY 20.... FAVORITE MEMORY..... THIS IS A LIST THAT COULD GO ON FOREVER BUT FOR NOW THIS MAKES ME HAPPY.

DAY 21..... IF I HAD AN EXTRA HOUR..... WOULDN'T WE ALL LOVE THIS, EVEN ONE EXTRA HOUR EVERY SUNDAY WOULD BE WONDERFUL FOR ME. WHAT WOULD YOU DO WITH THAT EXTRA HOUR???

So there's my lists for now, I still have to catch up from this weekend's lists and will post them later next week. Hoping to have project life ready for Tuesday, have been working on it today, wait and see!!! I swear each week is just flying by and it seems my PL is getting filled up pretty fast already.

GREEN PROJECT #5

TAGS, TAGS, TAGS, YOU KNOW HOW I LOVE MAKING THESE!!  I had fun making them and seeing all the green is still making me happy, will still be working with these colors in the upcoming weeks so be sure to check them out. The heat wave we had is slowly leaving us, the fan never came on today and not all the windows are open and I'm wearing jeans again, SIGH !! I will miss this awesome weather that kept me outdoors most of the week. Hoping it starts back real soon and stays that way.
