I want to say a big THANK YOU THANK YOU for all the comments and help everyone is sending me. It really helped me thru this week. When my computer crashed so did I, it was not pretty for either of us. This time around I'm being extra careful and keeping the kids off the computer for now to be extra safe. I think they've been clicking on stuff they shouldn't have and I may have without realizing it also. So just sticking to my fave blogs and no more blog hopping for now. Rich is downloading extra protection for us and that will help and the big lessson I've had to learn is BACK UP BACK UP EVERYTHING!!! I lost it all and am sad and lost not having those pictures anymore. Going to do it right this time though and save everything and as my oldest daughter said "DOUBLE SAVE" and be smart about my computer.
Thanks again for all your love and support ladies, couldn't do this without you. I've missed reading your blogs and not posting fun stuff for you. Hoping to learn how to upload pics this weekend. We have been doing well and Renee loved her rainbow birthday last week. Project Life is behind due to my pics being lost and now I need to order the ones for this week, keeping it very simple and might just add a lot of paper goodies for now.

I usually upload my photos to my iphoto program on my mac, but I also upload to my fb and to my flickr account.. that way I can always access my photos anywhere anytime fr any computer.. it's smart. You can also start uploading your photos to shutterfly or snapfish for free.. and that way they are stored there as well. just fyi.
ReplyDeleteyay! so glad you're up and running again. sorry you had to deal with the mess. i've lost my stuff before and i had a really hard time getting over the loss. i know keep everything on an external hard drive + the computer. i learned my lesson for sure. it's the worst feeling girl...i hope you can relax now! love seeing all your pics of the party. so cheery and colorful!
