In the bottom photo I decided to go with stencils and stamping ink and LOVE LOVE the results. I'm sure this will be showing up again in the future. It's cool to see all the background designs and colors. I wrote over this in pen, sometimes it didn't want to show up but I kept tracing over it till it would. Didn't take a photo of it all done so you could see first how pretty it looked before I wrote over it.
I wanted to include close up photos with these but uploading is still tricky for me. So click on the images and that should give you a little bit of a closeup. For this weeks art journal pages I've been doing it daily instead of getting the whole page ready ahead of time, this has been fun and challenging since I'm not sure how much room to leave for each day, but so far I'm happy with it and will share it next week.
I also have some COLOR CRAZY and art pages to show you in the next day or two. Getting my valentine decorations up and we have started our LOVE HEARTS also and I'm hoping to make a few Valentine decorations this year (working on the first one now) and will share them with you.

I love the color wash on the first layout and the patterns on the second one. Incredible patterns to create many other things. I did couple of Valentine crafts with my son,will post it on my blog within 2 days.

I was looking through a box of goodies last night and found some little pots of paints. I've had them for ages and the colours are beautiful. Maybe I should use them?!
ReplyDeleteI came here via karenika's blog. I LOVE the art journal pages!! So completely my kind of pages. I love the repeated use of the stencils - no one ever thinks to do that!! I almost wondered if you were using a steno pad, till I realized it was white, unlined pages. Just lovely.
