PROJECT LIFE....WEEK 9

Happy Project Life again!! WOW, this week flew by fast again, wish I could slow it down a little. I love this weeks pages and had fun putting it together. As you can see there is a COLLAGE! Oh it was so nice to see this, this is for the DAY IN THE LIFE last Thursday. I took about 50 photos during the day and picked the ones I liked most and was a mix of our day. I matted it on a red paper and slid it in, love that it has peeks of red to match the color theme this month. On the back of the insert is the daily sheets for that day, I LOVE THESE!! I will be changing this DAY IN THE LIFE from the last day of the month to the 13th of every month instead, just don't like it at the end. So on the first left hand side is my weekly card, adding heart brads to this when I find them. My LOVE card to the family and a newspaper clipping about the year anniversary since the Chardon shooting, still breaks my heart. The rest of the page is mostly about SAM!! He's been a busy boy with his friend Colt, could have put one more of them in here but left it this way. The blank journal card is waiting for me to write still, I like the colors of this. Thanks to Linda who sent me some fun goodies for me to use, SOOOO NICE LINDA!! The collage also has Kristin in it, so happy about that. She's not into getting her picture taken but I snuck in a few. The right page of the week is a favorite too. I had to capture the way Lucky has been laying with Summer lately, usually turned the other way around but like this one too. Colt has been talking NONSTOP and is growing way to fast. Summer and I saw a gorgeous and HUGE moon one night, couldn't get pictures but wrote it all down so won't forget, LOVE THIS! We are rocking to Taylor Swift RED cd, getting ready for her concert next month. The last photo is a little peek at our hearts on the door. THis is the worst LOVE month we've had, need to make sure next year is better. I do love that Sienna and Colt loved when I gave them their hearts, Colt kept holding his and having me read and reread it to him. Sienna loved hers and made me some too. Now I'm ready to add some green to March's pages, so glad because I'm kinda tired of the pinks/reds finally. Have a great week everyone!

  1. Yes, a little of spring colors for a change :). Are you celebrating St. Patrick's Day?. Although the weather around here is sunny but the recent breezy & windy days are most welcome :). Thank you for sharing your week highlights with us! LOVE that you able to document all of these and keep up with photos!. I can never do PL, lol so many things to share :). HUGS.

    1. Hello Shahrul,
I am very ready for green and new spring colors. We don't do much for St. Patrick's day. The kids used to wear all green when they were younger. I love to eat cornbeef and cabbage but noone else does, so not much fun around here this year. Thanks for always enjoying my PL posts. I bet you could do PL if you start small. For now I'd say your way of PL is thru your art/projects which are AWESOME! HUGS!

  3. Your pages look amazing Dawn, love your Day in a life layout, I was also going to change up my day so it is not always the same .. For your questions.
. I take between 1-15 photos a day then just pick out a random event to journal about!! So it could be breakfast, what I am doing , school or the kids.. I really need to get more pics of my fellas .. I am finding that is more about Sydney .. If they will only let me take a photo!! Ha!
    - my day starts on a Sunday and ends on the Saturday! This way on Sunday I can do all my journaling . I find i am too busy once Monday arrives.. It is routine now to just do my final touches on Sunday and I also get my pages ready for the following week! So that will include making my journaling pocket, placing my papers in my white background! Then Wednesday I do one half of my layout with all the photos then on Sunday I do the other half so W-S .
-I was hoping to only have the one album but I have a feeling it will be 2 again!! I am hoping I can get a project life album like yours for next year and try it traditional style.. I just wish they shipped to Canada but will get my brother to bring it with him on his travels!
I am hoping I don't slack off and get it all done!! You are doing so great and thanks for your weekly support!! Hugs xx

  6. great pictures as usual Dawn. You are so consistent with PL and I love that.I find it very difficult to post my PL every week. One of these days I should do a Day in my Life. It is great to see how you have included newspaper clippings too. Everything that touches your heart right?
