PROJECT LIFE OCTOBER 21 TO 27

HELLO PROJECT LIFE!! It's nice to be done on time this week, wasn't sure I could do it.  There was a issue of not being able to make collages, every time I tried it would go blank. So I gave up and printed off a bunch of photos and had a hard time choosing them. There is also 2 inserts this week to hold all the photos and some papers. I really had fun with these pages and did some new things.
Here is the left side, I remembered the date again and even added some words to it. The photo of me is before church Sunday. The story on the first two pages is all about RICH AND THE MINI PUMPKIN AND RICH COMING HOME MONDAY TO SURPRISE ME!!! I really need to get a better picture of the mini pumpkin but for now it will do. The journal card with the house is one I made over the summer and hung on to it till now. The quote on the next card is one Julie Bazar had on her PL the same time all this happened. I loved it and knew it fit in her perfectly this week. The blank card is my not knowing what to put there. Will decide later.
This is the right side and front of the insert. This is from MONDAY when he came home. I kept writing this all week and just had to include it in the pages. I LOVE IT!! The flowers are the ones I bought to surprise him, they are so spring/summery aren't they. Sadly I didn't get many photos that day, just soaked up the sun and enjoying being in the moment all day with Rich and kids.
This is the back of the insert and the right side of the week.
Here is the back of the insert. These photos are all from Thursday. It was a hot 83 that day and we enjoyed it all day long. Rich surprised me again and CAME HOME!!!! I was so thrilled again to have this day with him and the sunshine and fun times. Have I mentioned how AWESOME HE IS!! I decided to add some letter stickers and journal spots to some of the photos. It was fun to do this and will have to again. I like that I could squeeze in all these photos. We had our last smores of the year. I'm thankful that I picked so many leaves that week since the high winds have blown most of ours off. It's kinda sad how quick they turn color and then just like that they are all gone with the wind.

Here is the right side, I LOVE THIS SIDE!! I played around a little and added some journal spots again. The journal cards with mini pictures on them are my FAVORITE!! MUST DO THIS AGAIN! The bottom left hand picture is from a school celebration we had. It's so cool to see all our schools come together for the first time EVER and celebrate. It's too hard to see the kids faces in this group photo but I know they were in there somewhere and I love it!! It was nice to add the strip of paper across it from our newsletter explaining what this day was about and the rest of it is tucked behind the photo. On the bottom right photo I added our photo to this journal card that summed up how I felt about our day. I really enjoyed doing it a little different this week and want to do this more.

My goal this week was to get in as much feelings, photos, stories, fun and LOVE that I could and it feels like it worked. Reallllly happy with it and so thankful for this beautiful week I had.
This is an extra insert to hold the magazine papers I saw this week and don't want to forget about. On the back of it is the program from the girls Choir Concert they had this week. Hoping for a less photo week next week. Soooo excited knowing it's almost time to order my new PL for 2013!!!!!!

My heart and prayers are going out to the families suffering from SANDY. Such a tragedy when these natural disasters happen. So keep safe everyone! We didn't have school today due to the high winds, rain, power outages around here. They have moved trick/treating to Sunday also to make it easier and safer for the kids. We are lucky to have power and only a very muddy yard today.
For the month of November I will be taking a photo everyday of what I am thankful for and putting that into my PL each week. Our family will also be doing our Thankful leaves which I finished cutting out today and are ready to go. Will be sharing those along the ways too. If you are doing any Thankful projects this month please let me know, would love to see them. Have a happy and safe Halloween tomorrow. Can you belive it will be November???? Take care everyone, HUGS!!

SEPTEMBER AND OCTOBER FACES

Hello!! I'm finally showing the rest of September's faces and the start of October's. It's been so long since I made these, love seeing them again. Again each one is just a quick random drawing, no worries about perfect, just a fun piece of art for me. Doing these each day is making me love drawing faces even more still, really like doing the hair and just as much leaving them bald, crazy isn't it.

Face #1 is all GREEN, not sure why but just went with it, Halloween style I guess
Face #2 was because the orange and turquoise colors were on my mind that day
Face #3 was about the hair, having a fun colorful big hair
Face #4 looks kinda mean or something, didn't come out as I wanted??
Face #5 is for my love of book paper, LOVE THIS ONE
Face #6 was about trying background color again, love the colors together but that it
Face #7 is my first and only so far drawned from a photo!!! My daughter Kristin helped me over the phone with this one!!! I had gotten the Good Housekeeping magazine and Jamie Lee Curtis was on the front. She looked gorgeous and I've always loved her and thought this would be fun to draw. I am pleased with it, took my time and thought it out more then the other faces. I meant to post a picture of the magazine here for you to see, will do that later sorry!!! Will try this again. Really glad I did this and how it turned out.
Face #7 is about pink and happy that day, love it with NO HAIR, HA!
Face #8 poor guy wasn't having a good day or good hair day, haha
Here is the last of September's faces
Face #1, she is really happy!! I like it!
Face #2 She is also happy and has color, I like HER!!
Face #3 is all pencil, she is ok
Face #4 LOVE this one!! It's the hair, I got it just right, I practiced on white paper and liked how it came out so I cut her out and put her in. Like this hair style for my own hair. I didn't draw a face because I liked her just like this.
Here is the start of October faces
Face #1 I really want to draw long hair, kinda like it
Face #2 this was from a blog I read and she did a SHE ART GIRL, LOVE them and will be doing more of them. I like this one for my first one
Face #3, haha this is just a big bubblegum happy person, was having fun
Face #4 she is worried about something, she is lopsided but I love her
Face #5 Long hair again, kinda like it, need to keep doing them
Face #6, This one had a name right away, I've tried not to name these faces, which is hard for me. I love her, the neck messed up so I'm pretending she's wearing a turtleneck. SHE ART AGAIN
Face #7 is a too tiny, just left it that way and went with it
Face #8 All pencil again, I like it for some reason
Face #9 I did the face first then drew the shape, I like it even lopsided again???

The few things I'm learning about these faces is.... I like the faces white and not colored/painted in.. JUST WHITE... not sure why but do.... I like doing all pen or pencil ones.... I need to work on noses, really having hard time with that part...practice practice... they make me happy and are just for me....
Ok, that's it for now. Will post more later and I need to catch up from this weeks faces still, and finish my Project Life and share some art next week. Thanks so much for your support and comments.
Happy weekend!!

I'M CRUSHING ON MY HUSBAND... MUST READ THIS

THAT'S RIGHT LADIES, TODAY IT'S ABOUT MY HUBBY... I'm CRUSHING ON HIM..... crazy and weird and WOW I know.....WARNING.... this post is coming from my overfilled heart and so expect misspellings, crazy sentences and just me being real.... when my heart is this full I never make sense so please bare with me...... I went back and forth over sharing this news and don't worry it's G rated but you are true friends of mine and I HAVE TO SHOUT IT OUT!!! I AM FALLING IN LOVE WITH MY HUSBAND... YES FALLING IN LOVE WITH MY HUSBAND..... THERE IS BUTTERFLIES IN MY STOMACH.... I'M DIZZY.... NAUSEOUS.... HEART POUNDING.... CAN'T WAIT TILL I SEE HIM AGAIN FALLING IN LOVE WITH HIM ALL OVER AGAIN...AFTER 20 + YEARS TOGETHER HOW DOES THIS HAPPEN..... SLOWLY OVER THE WEEKEND IT STARTED AND THEN BAM SUNDAY NIGHT IT HIT ME RIGHT IN THE GUT AND THEN MONDAY MORNING WHEN HE LEFT FOR WORK...BAM.... THERE IT WENT AGAIN AND JUST KEPT BUILDING AND HECK TODAY IT'S STILL THERE.... I  CAN'T EAT, CAN'T THINK, ALL I WANT IS HIM BY MY SIDE AND TO HOLD HIS HAND AND DO NOTHING..... JUST SOAK HIM IN.... SOAK US IN.... JUST US WITHOUT DISTRACTIONS...... I CAN'T WAIT TILL HE GETS HOME TONIGHT....

SO YES THAT SIGN UP THERE HAS ALWAYS BEEN TRUE FOR US BUT NOW I FEEL IT ALL OVER AGAIN AND MADE THIS TO HANG AND STARE AT ALL DAY...SO LET'S START ON HOW THIS HAPPEND.... DID I MENTION THAT I HAVE BUTTERFLIES AND CAN BARELY BREATH...I'M CRUSHING ON HIM BIG TIME AND JUST HAVE TO SHOUT IT OUT AND HOPE THAT IT WILL CALM MY NERVES DOWN.... SO HERE WE GO....
sorry that the picture is blurry.... didn't realize till I uploaded it.... see this cute and teenie tiny treasure... it's a pumpkin.... OMG I do love this little mini of all minis.... first let's just say that last week a couple times Rich and I made reference to how long we've been together and how great it's been and how well we know each other. I started going over the little things that are BIG he does for me and all the support and love he gives me and how thankful I was for him. So then he comes to me with his hands closed together and says he has something to show me, I'm a little scared thinking it's a bug or something gross or maybe just a frog.... but he says no just wait and see... god the butterflies started just a little bit then and I saw him standing there and saw the love he has for me all over his face.... well he opens his hands and this sweetest littlest pumpkin was there.... OMG I know crazy... nope it's not jewels or material things for me... it's the smallest and simpliest things that get my heart racing.... so this tiny little treasure started it... isn't it so cute.... I coudln't believe it and he knew really knew that this would make my day too, he found it in the weeds in the garden adn saved it for me... Did I mention HOW AWESOME HE IS!!!
here's what my origianl mini pumpkin was on the left side, heck that was tiny compared to the others but this new little guy blew him away didn't he.... i love love this little pumpkin...
theen rich took out the measuring tape just for fun and measured them, he was loving this just as much as I was... he's a pretty simple guy too.... the rest of the day i just kept smiling at him and we flirted and hugged and had the best day... my mind kept going back to him and all he does to care about me and how lucky i was.... then he did something just as sweet but personal and STILL G rated but oh soooo sweet and man alive did the butterflies start then and I didn't realize what for sure was going on. Come monday morning i wake up with such a full heart and it's beating and i'm dizzy and can't stop thinking of him.... i didn't really tell him too much before he left for work... then i emailed him and told him it's crazy but i have these feelings for you and how awesome he is and how i badly badly wished he was here with me today and needed him soooo much.... i knew he was busy but told him i had to just let him know.... he emailed back he loved me and missed me too but work has been crazy busy and there's NO WAY he could come home.... i tried to go about my morning... barely thinking or clearly.... then as i was sitting at the table i looked up and.....
HE WALKED THRU THE DOOR... MY KNIGHT... MY HERO... MY LOVE... GOT I COULDN'T BREATH OR THINK.... THE PIT OF MY STOMACH WAS SICK... MY HEART BURSTED... I WAS A MESS AND LIKE JELLO... YEP HE CAME HOME HE CAME HOME HE CAME HOME... I'VE BEEN SAYING FOR 3 DAYS NOW AND STILL NOT DONE SAYING IT..... HE KNEW HE KNEW THAT I NEEDED HIM THAT BADLY AND TOLD HIS BOSS HE HAD TO LEAVE.... WORDS CANT DESCRIBE WHAT THIS DID FOR ME.... HE LOVES ME....TRULY MADLY DEEPLY LOVES ME AND IS THERE FOR ME.... HE JUST KEEPS LAUGHING WHEN I SAY IT.... YOU CAME HOME... YOU CAME HOME....  I barely can leave his side now and just want him right here with me... I'm going to ask him out on a date??? HOPE HE SAYS YES!!! So I'm thinking yesterday how crazy this is and tried to explain it too him when I see this article....
CRUSH YOUR HUSBAND!! What I'm not crazy??? This can happen??? I read and re read it and then hightlight it and write on it and give him this and tell him this is how I'm feeling..... he laughs and is good about it... think he's actually kinda shy and embarrased at the attention.... I'm bursting just writing this... so I'm writing him a letter today and making a promise to be there more for him... to step up and treat him like a PRINCE ... to treasure him and LOVE HIM COMPLETLY AND WITH ALL OF MY HEART AND SOUL AND TRUST... YEP I NEED TO TRUST HIM MORE.... THIS IS HUGE HUGE FOR ME..... I HAVE TO MAKE HIM #1 MORE IN MY LIFE AND NOT JUST THE KIDS.... HE'S MY EVERYTHING AND MORE.... OK NOW I CAN QUIT SHOUTING RIGHT.... THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH FOR LETTING ME SHARE THIS..... I MAY BE ABSENT FOR A FEW DAYS WHILE I SPEND TIME WRITING LOVE LETTERS AND HEARTS TO HANG UP ALL OVER THE HOUSE AND STAYING GLUED TO HIS SIDE WHEN HE'S HOME ..... I WANT TO SAVOR THIS TIME AND NOT MISS OUT ON ANYTHING..... HERE'S ANOTHER PICTURE THAT HE ASKED ME TO POST BEFORE ALL THIS FALLING IN LOVE HAPPENED....
these are the last of the peppers... he arranged them just so to look pretty for this photo, he's soooo proud of him and of them.... don't they look great.... I'm lucky to have this AWESOME GUY!!
I've been collecting leaves now for 3 days, my head and heart can't handle much else... aren't they gorgeous and so FALL.... just going to sit and think about my husband and keep picking leaves for now and enjoying the great 70's weather we are having this week..... love it..
my project life from last week is almost done, just writing and I think this week will be dedicated to my hubby, full of love and photos and writing about him.... will post these next week...
Shahrul.... i have art to share and I'm soooo sorry for keep putting it off, this post is already so long but it's here and will post soon.... i want to THANK YOU THANK YOU for all your comments, support and inspiration you give me each week.... you could say that i've been crushing on your art so much lately.... love them all and i'm thinking of doing your "HAND" idea using my hubby and mines hands or just his maybe, will let you know. THANKFUL TRADITION PROJECT

I'm sharing our tradition of "THANKFUL LEAVES" project with you today. I know some of you have seen this idea but thought my new readers would like to see it. This idea came from my first blog friend Becki 3 years ago and it's one that means sooo much to me and I hope my kids carry it on to their kids. This is a project for anyone and everyone, just taking a moment every day to write down something your THANKFUL  for. So the first thing I do is get construction paper in fall colors. I used a stencil for my leaves but you can use whatever you have, even free hand them. The cutting out part is time consuming so break it up each day and ask for help if you can. Once you have them cut out put them in a jar, bowl, envelope whatever works best for you. I put them in a jar with a pen.
The next thing you do is decide where you will want to hang these leaves once you write on them. We have a brown door in the kitchen that reminds me of bark from a tree and that's where ours go. I know some people who make a tree, draw a tree, whatever works best for you is just fine.

We start this project on November 1st and go thru the whole month. I usually try to have us do this during dinner time each day. Some of these leads into talking and laughing while eating dinner which is another great part about this project. The lesson is to try and look for the little things we take for granted and just the simple things that can make us happy. The kids have a hard time with this about half way thru but I nudge them along. Sometimes we pull out the previous years and read them to each other, so funny to do this and see what's changed. The above picture is from last years, LOVE LOVE THEM ALL!!! I can predict what the kids will write some days and others they totally surprise me. At the end of the month I take them down and put into a baggie which goes in the back of  Project Life. For those of you with little ones that can't write yet, try explaining to them what it means and you can do the writing for them. If you have any questions leave them in the comments and I will help any way I can. During November I will post pictures for you too see of our door.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend, I started making Christmas cards today, YIPPEEE!!
I'm going to be sharing gorgeous fall colors from a walk I had this week. So much color going on and I'm trying to capture them before the gusts of wind comes in and blows them all away.  HUGS!!!

PROJECT LIFE...2 WEEKS CAUGHT UP!!!

HELLO PROJECT LIFE!!! So excited to be caught up again, it was tough two weeks to document. I just have to say it again PROJECT LIFE ROCKS FOR ME!!! It amazes me that I've been doing this for almost 4 years now and each week still makes me happy and giddy. My heart is filled with joy when doing this project. I can't wait to order the new ones, sometime next month!!!! I have lots of photos and close ups to show and talk about today. Hope you enjoy them all and last to the end of it.

So this above is the full page spread from 2 weeks ago. LOOK I DID THE DATE CARD!!! This was homecoming week and I was soooo tempted to fill it up with just those pictures. Thankfull for other just as happy moments though so I added an insert to tell all the stories. Which is funny because really it's only 3 days worth. The page on the left was from Sunday and the RH page is from one day too. The rest after that is from homecoming, LOVE LOVE how I can do this in my PL now. That first year I was sooooo dedicated to only ONE PHOTO A DAY, never mixed them or thought to do it this way. I'm embracing this freeing weekly style much more now. So let's see some close ups.
Here is the LHS... I love the pretty gilittery alphas used in the date card..... the first pocket has a cool tag from a new hat that came with Sam's scooter the week before. This will prob. be the last watermelon picture this year. Rich was thrilled!! The bottom two photos are from our outing to a Alpaca farm open house just down the street from us. We had fun and learned a lot about alpaca's, sadly they aren't friendly and don't like to be petted much. I had to make a collage for this of course. The bottom right picture is MY FAVORITE!! On this street for years I've wanted to get this picture and thanks to Summer sitting beside me she got it. I love seeing all the bundles of hay rolled up like this. So thankful for the many farm/country/nature/trees/open fields I drive by every day in my town.
here is a close up of the Alpaca collage. I found out on my mom's computer when clicking on the images to see better it doesn't come in that great for her. Please let me know if it doesn't work for any of you also. I'm going to try and remember to post these collages seprately so she can see them better.
Sorry about this one, forgot to flip it and not sure how to know without messing up my post. Will have to do this one again and repost it for you. This was about Renee and Sam being sick that week of homecoming, thankfully Renee was better by the dance day. I really wanted to show this day because Renee and Sam don't play together as much and have similar interests. He has too much energy for her, haha... so on this day which was warm out she sat and kept him company while I got errands and chores around the house done. I surprised them with the new Avengers movie which they BOTH LOVE.... YIPPEEE FOR THIS!!! I want to remember how sweet and good they were to each other. Look at that gorgeous sunset we had that night also, perfect way to end a good day!!

here is the HOMECOMING PAGE!! Doesn't it look great and so photo fun!! The LHS is the back of the insert and the RHS is just the regular page for that week. I picked all my favorite and stuck them in. I even have the little ticket from the night and added some stickers to some of the pictures. I left the journal card empty for now, might ask Renee to do the writing or just do it myself, still thinking on this one. I also meant to put this in the order as it happened but it didn't work that way, still might switch them. Guess what these two lovebirds are doing today after school??? DANCING JUST FOR FUN AT HIS HOUSE!!!  Isn't that sweet !!! She will love looking back at this one day I hope.
Here is PL from last week, lots of fun stuff again to remember. LOOK I REMEMBERED THE DATE ON THE CARD AGAIN... I'm on a roll now.... how about close ups now....
Here is the LHS for the week. COLLAGE TIME again, love doing these! The top one is from our visit to the farmpark which I posted about it this week. The bottom ones are from last Monday. We woke up to a light frost on the ground. I got my camera right away and was so inspired by this that I took pictures about what I did that day till the kids got home. Well, not the chores but the FUN STUFF DID!! The bottom collage is all about what I did that day and feeling inspired by just being in my backyard. LOVE LOVE THIS!!! The journal card above the picture describes it perfectly... I LIVED IN THE MOMENT!!! Call me crazy but I love the simple things in life.
Here is the close up of that collage. LOVE THIS!!
OK THIS IS WHAT PL MEANS TO ME SOOOO MUCH, THESE LITTLE EVERYDAY MEMORIES I WANT TO KEEP!!! That is Miss Sienna there with Lucky and requested this photo, LOVE THIS!! I am soooo hoping she will love taking pictures when she's older. We also played with white crayons and black paper that day. She is always sad that white doesn't work on white so I finally pulled out black and showed her it does this way. SHE WAS HAPPPPY!! We then tried other crayons and gel pens to see what worked. I had to include this photo of what I made her, she loved it. This will be done again in my art journal. Ok, now the top right side is the girls getting in some exercise at home. This was sooo funny to watch and take pictures of, I was crying and laughing with them. Happy to say they put that tape in the next 2 days and even I joined them. Hope this will last a long time, they need it!! The bottom left photo is adorable, these two are cute together. I'm thankful for each day and moment Summer plays with Sam. She didn't let the cold weather stop them, she got out a hat and gloves for both of them. Off they went on their bikes. The bottom right photo, is a just because I had to photo. Doing the laundry that day and I left these 3 sweatshirts out to air dry, walking past them numerous times and smiling at them. Crazy I know, but it was the reminder of where and why the kids wear and love these sweatshirts. The 3 colors also kept calling me to paint or scrap in them. Well, later that day I found the inspiration on a friend's blog and will be share the page later when I do it based off these colors and this photo. Now for one more close up
This is my collage for the 12th of last week. I try to do this each month and was glad to see this time the kids were off from school. I took most of these from our being out running around for the day. Will be doing something??? with this and will share it with you then. Whew, did you make it thru all this post?? Thank you so much if you did and hope you enjoyed it. Oh and another thought I had during this process is how I love seeing Sienna and Colt in this album and how/what can I do to share these with them since these albums are at my house. Think I might have a plan, will keep you posted on it. Lots of fun posts coming up so please keep checking back  so you won't miss them. For my new readers I have a THANKFUL idea to post and you might like to start this tradititon with us. Thanks ladies and see you back here SOON!! Have a great week!

FARM PARK VISIT

Hello, how is your weekend going?  I hope it's good like mine has been so far. I'm still working on my PL pages, need to order more pictures and do some journaling. Will show you two weeks at once when they are done, hopefully SOON. For now I thought I'd share our Farmpark pictures from last Sunday. There is so many things I wanted to blog about that we've been up too. Will have lots to post about this week. Hard to believe it's been a week since Homecoming, thanks again for all the comments on that post. I'm happy to report that Renee and Tyler had the best time and according to Renee he is the BEST DANCER. She had to keep up with him on the dancing, I teased him about sneaking and taking dance lessons ahead of time. So glad it worked out for them and they enjoyed it.Thank you also for the good wishes on Sam and his wishes for SNOW!!! He even asked again last night for it to happen, haha we are going to hopefully see 70 degrees today, YIPPEEE!!! I told him to wait till his birthday for the snow to come, it's too early for it to come now. Thanks again ladies!

So the above photo is us getting at the park, love seeing them walking together. They are bundled up against the wind, rain and cold morning. Summer was too cute wearing my hat and gloves that day.
They had a balloon exhibit going on the week before and these were the only 2 left. How cool are this, made totally with balloons and string. I amazed each year when they do this, so creative.
Of course we had to take the tractor/wagon ride. The kids love this part and Sam and Summer always sit in the front to pretend like they are driving us.

Renee and Summer found baby pigs to pet and nibble on their hands
then they took a nap all cuddled together, CUTE!!
The horses were out and very friendly today, we would all love to take one home
The kids played in the Dairy room, set up with ice cream toys
I want to remember was that Summer was cute and funny during this visit. She can always make us laugh and put us in a HAPPY mood. When we were leaving she started singing a marching song and getting us to march behind her the WHOLE WAY BACK OUT. It was so funny and sweet. Sam was happy to follow her and march with her. I hung back and took a few photos of pretty trees.
I saw these cute little fellows watching us leave, couldn't resist a photo

Hope you enjoyed this little visit to the Farmpark with us. Oh and if it was a better weather day, they have a HUGE cornmaze to walk thru. Maybe on our next visit we can do that. Have a happy day!
