Sam's artwork and CHRISTMAS IN JULY EVENT!!!

This is what Sam made yesterday, look at that red/white/blue bird he loves it!! That sun is pretty wild also, and the bird is crashing into the palm tree he says.
This one is pretty cool,  what do you think it looks like??  Sam thinks it's a crab.  He took gold paint and put it on the paper plate then smashed the sides together and when he opened it this is what it looked like, SOOOOO COOL !!!!!!
Here is another fun one of Sam's, love all the details and it's so awesome that he's coloring!!
Last week Sam asked me what he could draw, I suggested a tree with a birdhouse. He said NO WAY CAN I DO THAT!!! Well, he surprised me and did it, just love that cute birdhouse.
WOW, is that boy of mine on a roll or what. He did a lot of work and time on this one too. I see how good of a drawer and imagination he has but he won't always sit down to do this. Love love all the details and colors on it. He did one more of these and gave it to his dad to hang up at work, he barely would let me keep this one, lol.

I have art from the girls too, will show them later on, thought it was nice just to do one kid at a time.
On a whole different note, does anyone knows what happens 6months and 20 days from now??? Can you say HO HO HO !!! MERRY CHRISTMAS!! I'm excited to find a place that is celebrating Christmas in July all month, don't worry that it's July 5th, you can catch up in no time.  My dear friend Tracey at http://alusciousjourney.blogspot.com/  has all the info on her blog, she is one of the Dream Team Members at Unscripted Sketches which is the host of this aweseome event. I am going to play along this month since I've been planning a Christmas in July party for my kids, some of you know that I did this last July for the first time. I'm so happy to have this be a new tradition for us and it's just what we need to get out those end of July summer blues that seems to come around. So please head on over to Tracey's blog and check it out,  it is full of cool ideas already and it's FREE, you even get a party favor mailed to you. What would be even cooler is if you threw a Christmas party in July along with me, would love to know my friends are doing this also. I will post more about this later, it is going to be simple though like last years. Hope everyone is enjoying the first week of July and staying cool or staying warm for my faraway friends. Take care and see you soon for more fun stuff!

  2. Sam is quite the artist!! Love all of his creativity, and yes, even before reading below the picture I thought the white/gold design resembled a crab!! Course, I see those lil guys scooting around on the beach all the time...but, yes, that's just what I was thinking when I saw it!! Looks like he had lots of fun! Looking fwd to seeing what the girls created!! Hugs!!
