SOMEWHERE IN AUSTRALIA ....SOMEWHERE IN AMERICA... a special post!

I've been blessed with some awesome blog friends,  some near and some far. There is one dear friend who is very far away, she lives in Australia and her name is Tracey. To say I have a friend that far away is amazing and fun, she is a day ahead of me, has winter now while I'm in the middle of a HOT SUMMER, she has a desert scenery when taking her walks, so very cool to me!! The one thing Tracey does well is make cards, I call her my CARD QUEEN!!!  Thanks to her I've been attempting to make more cards instead of buying them. Tracey is also the queen of BANNERS, the sweetest ones on her cards and layouts. My Project Life inspired her to start her own album and it's full of homemade goodness in it.

Some people can't believe I've gotten this close with someone who lives across the ocean and talk about her as if she lives right next door to me. For me it's not that surprising, Tracey has been there to let me complain, encourages me to keep going when something isn't working, she makes me laugh with her HELLO posts, she is creative in all the projects and inspires me to just be ME!!  All of my readers do this and I'm so thankful for EACH SINGLE ONE OF YOU, I know how lucky I am to know all of you in this blogworld and you all have a piece of my heart.

We decided ( Tracey's idea) to do something fun about our different lives in different countries. We picked a date and time to take a picture of ourselves OUTSIDE.  This was to show the different seasons we are having, well even though she's in winter, her day is sunny and clear blue sky's and mine was a hot day and we were swimming and my nieces were over also. We took these pictures of ourselves and sent them to each other,  HOW FUN THIS WAS!!  Thankfully, Tracey knows all about the digital world and put our pictures together with some words, LOVE HOW IT TURNED OUT!! So on this day July 2, 2012 at 3:00p.m. this is what we were both doing and it's nice that we were both thinking of each other that day. I'm sure we will do this again and I'd like to make something out of our pictures to remember this fun idea and how you can have a good friend even if you haven't met them. One day we hope to win the lottery and will be able to fly somewhere to meet and have a lovely visit!!

Thank you Tracey for being such a dear sweet friend and for this fun idea. I can't wait to do this again, maybe by then you will have a rainy cold day or some SNOW!!!

To see Tracey's post about our picture together visit her at http://alusciousjourneyblogspot.com/
feel free to peek around at her Project Life and pretty cards.

Thank you for reading this today and hope it made you smile as it does me. Thank you for the sweet comments on Summer's artwork too, she is soooo happy about it. Be sure to read my previous post on THE DREAM HOUSE, you don't want to miss it!!  Have a great day everyone and for a moment today just sit and remember how  COOL it is to have blog friends from all over the world. HUGS!!
