T stands for first Tuesday in February

Hello and Happy Tuesday and February! Yes, we are one of the lucky ones who got over a foot of snow yesterday. It never stopped, so the shoveling never stopped. We worked in pairs and every few hours to keep up on it. Had to do a few more today also, thank goodness it's done. Hope everyone who got snow is safe and warm inside. What a way to start the new month, snow and a snow day.
The sun and blue sky even came out, YAY!
Here's Moodboard Monday #2, inspired by the colors in the magazine and paper towel. Love these and want to use them again. Makes me want spring and real flowers here to play with.
Here is my link up photo for Elizabeth's for our T Day blog hop. I had my mom over for a quick egg salad lunch on her lunch break from work. No fancy cups or drinks, just some milk to wash it down with. She was going to get some hot coffee back at work since I don't have any at my house.

Thank you so much for the wonderful comments last Tuesday on the painting class with my mom and sisters. Was so nice reading them and seeing that other places do this too.

I've posted below my new projects for the year, YAY, keeping them simple and happy. Hope you can peek at them.  I will keep sharing them as they get done.

Thanks so much for your visit and Elizabeth for letting us share our Tuesday's in such a fun way.
Stay safe and warm if your in winter and enjoy the sun and warm for you spring/summer ladies.

  1. lunch with Mom is lovely, no matter how simple the menu! We only had a few flurries and the wind made up for the rest!

  2. No matter how simple, any meal with a loved one is a good one! We got a LOT of snow , and even ice and rain too-ugh:( Happy T day and enjoy being indoors and warm.

  3. Not much more than a skiff of snow for us, several times, but then it goes again. We have a snow shovel that has only been used once in about four years. I feel for those that get lots of it; it's such an inconvenience. Pretty, yes, but inconvenient.
What a lovely way to spend your lunch time, with you mum :D Happy t Day :o))

  4. We had lovely days last week, then it was horrible over the weekend. We ended up getting rain. I kept thinking how much snow that slightly over 1 inch of rain would have produced. In a way, I'm much happier with the rain. Enjoyed seeing all that snow, but felt for you having to do all that work. At least you had help. That's what kids, not cats, are for. Even Lucky seems to be helping (grin).

What I'd give to spend one more day with my Grandmother (grands raised me). Even an egg sandwich would have been a regal meal in my eyes. Wonderful memories over a simple meal is a great way to share T this week. Thanks for doing this, dear.

  5. It's been years since we had snow to speak of here, and I can't remember ever having to shovel. You look like you really got Winter Wonderland there!

  6. Snow is pretty but lots of work it seems. How nice to have lunch with your Mom, she must have enjoyed the visit in the middle of her work day.

  10. We got about 10" on top of the 8" that was already on the ground. I've had enough to last me the rest of the winter as I am sure you have. At least you have lots of shoveling help!
Lunch in the middle of a workday with Mom? Priceless!

  14. Hi Dawn, I'm slowly make it around to those I couldn't get to on T-day.
Your snowy pictures make me feel a little guilty, it was sunny and 70 degrees here yesterday, and the same is forecasted for today. Nice....yes, but we still need the rain and some snow in the mountains.
So I won't be shoveling snow today, but pulling weeds from the flower beds instead......LOL
    Stay safe and warm!!!!
