PROJECT LIFE & TREE ART

HELLO PROJECT LIFE!! This is my second week of my THANKFUL photos or thoughts. I can't say enough how much this month of thanks means to me. I'm feeling more blessed this year then last year. To pick only one thing each day is hard but that's why I keep filling up lots of thankful leaves so it's all there. Darn, just realized I forgot to get a  picture of the leaves. Please someone remind me next time, lol... so what's cool about this week is the mix of fall, snow and Christmas all in one week. LOOOOOVE THIS!!!  I really like the look of this week because of the mix!! Close -up time....
here is the left side, sorry for the glare. Look at the lights and the snow and holiday goodness all one side!! Seeing lights this time of year is my FAVORITE thing of all, better then presents even!! So thankful my hubby will put them on for me, mine would be a complete mess. LOVE LOVE the leaves with snow on them, just the first little bit we got last Tuesday!! Last Wednesday we went to the Christmas Child even at our church. So thankful that we could help the kids less fortunate then us. The kids loved filling up shoe boxes for them, it was an amazing feeling and we can't wait to do it again next year. I also signed up for Alisa Burke's holida class and so far I LOVE it. Hoping to show you my projects from the class in the next couple weeks.
This side is all about fall!! Those leaves in the top corner are from the kids, so happy to have these. I take them out each week for Thanksgiving then wrap and pack away gently since one is already broken. LOVE seeing my tree art there!! Thankful my hubby loves to play and is amused by the simple things in lif ejust like me!! We had our Thanksgiving feast at church Saturday night, the tables looked beautiful. I didn't want to ruin Thanksgiving food for me so all I ate was the coleslaw, rolls and sweet potatoes. Had the best time there and can't wait till next years. So there is another week done. can you believe December will be here soon, then a NEW YEAR!! So excited by this.
I have another tree here for you today. Can anyone guess what this one will be??? Come on guess???
Did you guess right?? Thank you Linda for this idea, I LOVE IT!! There is still more being planned but won't be done till later on. Busy working on Christmas surprises!!
So I did the same background with masking tape and then painted over it with a light red but looks pink. I made the tree bigger do look more like a full Christmas tree, might even add some glitter to it later. The list is all my thoughts about the tree and the LIGHTS are my favorite part!! Here is the list in case you can't read it. ( Linda I will post the fall list later for you)
1. DECORATE ME!!
2. LOTS OF LIGHTS!!
3. KEEP THE PETS AWAY, HAHA OUR CAT LIKES TO CLIMB IT
4. SIT BESIDE ME AT NIGHT WITH ONLY THE TREE LIGHTS ON... I DO THIS ALL SEASON BEFORE BED.
5. HANDLE WITH CARE... MEANING TAKE CARE OF IT, IT'S SPECIAL
6. O' CHRISTMAS TREE... LOVE THAT SONG
7. PUT PRETTY PACKAGES UNDER ME...(THAT'S THE KIDS FAVORITE PART)
I'm happy to have another tree done. Thanks so much EVERYONE for your sweet comments on my trees in the last post. THEY MADE MY DAY!!!  Now for one last photo, this is for the hubby!!
ONLY 3 MORE DAYS BABY!!! OUR THANKSGIVING WILL BE HERE!! HE WAS SOOOO THRILLED THAT I TOOK THIS PICTURE, WANTS ME TO BLOW IT UP FOR HIS OFFICE.
IT'S GOING TO BE A BEAUTIFUL DAY ON THURSDAY SO WE GET TO DO SOMETHING FUN AFTER WE STUFF OURSELVES!!! HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!

Can I ask, if you have turkey for Thanksgiving what do you have at Christmas?
For Christmas we usually have turkey, ham and seafood. Do you have turkey for both?

    1. Hi Linda,
So glad you came by, hoped you'd like the tree. Thanks for the idea. Laughing at your LOTS and my kids would agree with you. OOHHH I love the idea of a New Year's Tree, thanks so much again and will add it to the list!!
I'm going to send you an email about the turkey question.
Just so others know though we have ham at Christmas time. We've had both before too but it's easier to just do one big ham.
I will get extra pictures just for you!
