Happy Thanksgiving 2011

Kristin, you were in our thoughts and hearts all day today. The day felt a little empty without your gorgeous smile and hugs. Only a month till your home again with us, let's hope it comes fast. We love you and are soooo thankful to have you in our lives. Sending you big hugs from home.
MOM AND ANNIE YOU WERE ON MY MIND TODAY TOO, MAY NOT HAVE SEEN YOU MUCH BUT I'M THANKFUL FOR YOU TWO JUST AS MUCH, LOVE YOU BOTH!!! THANKFUL FOR ALL MY BLOG READERS AND HOPE YOU ENJOYED YOUR THANKSGIVING AND YOUR FAMILIES. YOU MAKE MY DAYS BRIGHTER!!
This man is awesome, does pretty much all the cooking and prepping for this holiday. I take care of the deviled eggs and beans but he does the rest. Today he got up at 4:00 to put the turkey in so we could eat early and go to the ZOO!! We just found out that it's free day today. So we ate about 11:15 and left an hour later. He does an awesome job cooking a turkey and love doing it every year. I love spending this holiday with him, it's our favorite. I love that he gets to be home for 4 days with us. Lots to be thankful for today and I'm very lucky for all I have.
Soooo very lucky and thankful for this man. He is a great father and husband and makes me happy. I love that he gets excited about this day and does everything to make it special for me, whatever it is. He is so positive and fun and supportive and laid back. He can make me laugh constantly and is such a clown with the kids. I love spending my life with him and hope for many more years together.
This fella was so cute and loves the attention. Just hung there watching all of us. He must think he's a movie star with all the people and flashes in his face, lol down below him were two other ones playing around.
Look closely, these two bears were having a fight. The one stuck in the corner was making a horrible sound to scare off the other one. We were very sad about this, felt bad for the cornered one. Even when we walked away we could still here them from far away. Sam was ready to jump in and save the other bear.
The sun was glaring on us but look at that beautiful giraffe, they are my favorite. Would love to have one, lol
This cutie was what Sam wanted to see. It was so cute playing with a stick like our dog does.
I just realized today that I'm always in the back, watching them. These images change over the years and this one hit me hard today. Sam has been 10 for two weeks, Renee is 15 in two months, Summer right in the middle at 13 where did the time go. Look how tall Renee is and Sam is close behind already. I love love walking behind and reflecting on the changes over time. So thankful to be here and witness it.
I will never get tired of seeing this out my window in the mornings or evenings. It takes my breath away each time and fills my heart with happiness. GODS BEAUTY!!

  3. Dawn,
I had read this post on Thanksgiving Day from my Mom's and tried to comment, but her computer was being funky and I could not. I love all these photos! And the sunset on the last image is so beautiful!
