WEEK IN THE LIFE..... DAY ONE

It was finally here, first day of WITL..... I slept horrible last night, excited for today but weird dreams that kept me tossing all night. It felt as though I was behind on the time all day, it didn't stop till I went to bed. My plan was to post this last night but NO TIME!! I'm thinking of doing some pages using numbers so I kept track of a few numbers of things yesterday and will each day to see how much I have at the end of the week.
total pictures on camera today 85, I like that amount not too crazy and no panic of not having enough
totall pictures on my iphone 21, still working on how to download them but at least I got them
total times I let the dog out, 11 times, thought it would be a higher number, seem I do it all day
total laundry NONE ZERO !! SHOCKING YES!! Of course now I'm behind today
total times running dishwasher.... one time
total pictures I deleted out of the 85.... 20 of them so I have 65 to work with for today

I was a little lost on what to document today since I babysat again today, feels like I just did this so much last week about them but I did it again and added a few of my own kids and things. So here's a look at a few from my Monday.
I forgot to mention that I'm also playing around with a THEN AND NOW idea for this week. How our lives were in 2010 when I did WITL and how it is now. This is our one and only full bathroom. THe girls have taken it over, it's rare that I can keep this counter cleared off for one day. They have discovered all the make up and hair stuff and for some reason doesn't like to wipe the counter down when they are done making a mess, can you believe that. I keep wipes right under the sink and only I seem to use them. Have started wanting a masterbath just for me and me alone. It would be clean!!
I have started letting Sam text on my phone now to his big sister in Florida. This might be my big story of the day, have been meaning to do this in Pl and haven't. He loves doing this!!
This is what made the whole day worth it, a beautiful sunset. This is always my favorite and it seems to come when I need it, gives me strength and hope for the next day. So there it is my first day done and my second day already going and I'm behind already on the time, lol
This is what REAL LIFE IS, just gotta keep going though, excited to see what today brings us.
What I'm most grateful for this day was Seinna telling me how much she loved me and how happy she was to see me in church yesterday and that she loved me being there. It was the way she said it and meant it from her little heart to my heart. She is amazing and so sweet!!

    1. Hi Susan,
Thanks so much for looking at both posts, I know you love these posts. I was surprised by the 85 photos, didn't seem like it but usually at the end of the day it turns out higher then I thought. Thank you for the encouraging words on this project and the others. It makes me verrrry happy knowing that the kids will have this to look back on and see so many little things in their lives.
That sunset photo is my fave and it was much needed by then. The kids started squabbling at night and this is what kept me calm and inspired again.

  2. I loved reading and seeing how your day went. I am a little envious though, you doing WITL and me not. Oh well maybe next and maybe when things aren't so insane around here.
    Can't wait to see tomorrow.
    love me :-)

    1. Hi Deb,
Isn't that photo something, took me 4 tries to get it. If it didn't finally work he wasn't going to sit there nicely much longer, when he's hungry you gotta keep the food going, lol
Thanks for stopping by and the encouraging words.
