FARM PARK VISIT

Hello, how is your weekend going?  I hope it's good like mine has been so far. I'm still working on my PL pages, need to order more pictures and do some journaling. Will show you two weeks at once when they are done, hopefully SOON. For now I thought I'd share our Farmpark pictures from last Sunday. There is so many things I wanted to blog about that we've been up too. Will have lots to post about this week. Hard to believe it's been a week since Homecoming, thanks again for all the comments on that post. I'm happy to report that Renee and Tyler had the best time and according to Renee he is the BEST DANCER. She had to keep up with him on the dancing, I teased him about sneaking and taking dance lessons ahead of time. So glad it worked out for them and they enjoyed it.Thank you also for the good wishes on Sam and his wishes for SNOW!!! He even asked again last night for it to happen, haha we are going to hopefully see 70 degrees today, YIPPEEE!!! I told him to wait till his birthday for the snow to come, it's too early for it to come now. Thanks again ladies!

So the above photo is us getting at the park, love seeing them walking together. They are bundled up against the wind, rain and cold morning. Summer was too cute wearing my hat and gloves that day.
They had a balloon exhibit going on the week before and these were the only 2 left. How cool are this, made totally with balloons and string. I amazed each year when they do this, so creative.
Of course we had to take the tractor/wagon ride. The kids love this part and Sam and Summer always sit in the front to pretend like they are driving us.

Renee and Summer found baby pigs to pet and nibble on their hands
then they took a nap all cuddled together, CUTE!!
The horses were out and very friendly today, we would all love to take one home
The kids played in the Dairy room, set up with ice cream toys
I want to remember was that Summer was cute and funny during this visit. She can always make us laugh and put us in a HAPPY mood. When we were leaving she started singing a marching song and getting us to march behind her the WHOLE WAY BACK OUT. It was so funny and sweet. Sam was happy to follow her and march with her. I hung back and took a few photos of pretty trees.
I saw these cute little fellows watching us leave, couldn't resist a photo

Hope you enjoyed this little visit to the Farmpark with us. Oh and if it was a better weather day, they have a HUGE cornmaze to walk thru. Maybe on our next visit we can do that. Have a happy day!

  1. FUN day!!. Must be cold though, but petting the animals would certainly warmed any hearts :). I've never been to a farm park before, except the zoo which is totally a different thing. However, I have petted some baby animals at Minneapolis Farmer's Market which was really fun!!. TFS, Dawn!.

    1. Hi Shahrul,
Thanks for the visit and comment. We are lucky to have this Farmpark about half hour away and the first Sunday of every month is free. The kids love to see the animals and pet any that we can. We all want to have a farm one day. Glad you enjoyed the photos.

  2. How cute are those little piggies. A touch farm is always a hit for children of all ages...I love visiting them and just capturing the faces of my grand babies on camera. I can't believe you are yearning for snow...when all i want is sunny skies.

    1. Hi Lynette,

The piggies are the best and we always want to take the litlest one home. I too love seeing the kids get excited even at their older age.
That Sam of mine is wishing for that snow, he just can't wait to play in it.

    1. Hi Linda,
You should go visit an animal farm, your never to old for that. It's a great time for all of us. The weather is getting cold pretty quick here for us and lots of rain. Thanks for keeping your fingers crossed, I told Sam so he is very excited.
