So what makes this month so special...THANKSGIVING!!! It is my favorite holiday along with my hubby's. He does most of the cooking that day. We can't wait for it too come, HAPPY DANCE!! I'm excited to do this first HELLO post today. I've always been inspired by my dear friend Tracey's each month and had to do it for my favorite time of year. Thanks Tracey for the inspiration. These are the first Thankful leaves from today, click on image to see better. Sam didn't want to do his yet but the rest of us got ours in and even did more then one. I will be adding a poem in the middle of this later on. Please feel free to do a thankful project and share it here with me, would love to have others.
I am way past due to show some art and so I have some pieces to share. This one and the next few are inspired from my creative and sweet friend Shahrul. She did a rainbow page with masking tape on it and then ripped off some of the tape. I LOVE THIS IDEA!! I knew right away that FALL would be my word to outline with masking tape. I then painted over it with fall colors and a quick doodle around the edges. Then I pulled off the tape and this is how it looked. I then did more pages.
On this page it's about WORDS TO LIVE BY for me. I left some of the tape on the shapes after paitning them. Just did some doodling around each one, nice and simple the way I like it. This was fun for me too and I like all the colors and doodles. Will do this one again with different theme.
went with the fall theme again. leaves one the left and tree on the right. I thought about filling in the leaves but I am always wanting "WHITE" space on most of my art and scrapping so I left it and want to do more. I have done a tree like this before, I forgot all about it. I LOVE seeing these fall colors in the background, must do more of these and then winter ones too. Thanks Shahrul for inspiring me. Sorry it took me so long to post these.
Happy November everybody, I"M THAKFUL FOR ALL OF YOU!!!!

I LOVE how you paint & doodle around the masking tapes, I feel like doing that again :). Oh, Thanksgiving month is coming up so fast I could smell pecan & pumpkin pies already!!. TFS girl :).
