Hello and Happy New Year! How did the big night go for you? Anyone stay awake to ring in the New Year? I actually made it, in fact we all did, YIPPEE!! It was a quiet evening at home, good thing because the snow started that morning and it still hasn't stopped and looks like it will keep going thru tomorrow night. YIKES!! I told Sam he could turn off the snow machine now, haha. I'm sure my dear friend Nancy is loving this and thanking Sam for asking for it. Sorry Nancy, I made him stay inside all day and grounded him from playing out in it just for you!! Let's not even think of the below temps coming for next week when the kids are due back to school. NO SNOW DAYS ALLOWED!
So the above picture is from NYE and what has become a tradition for about 6 years I want to say. Somehow Sam started it and it stuck. We have fondue about 8 or 9 that night. We use fruit and mini oreos, marshmallows, teddy bears and dip these into chocolate syrup, whip cream or peanut butter. Great way to end the year I think, messy fun and this time Kristin is home to enjoy it too. The rest of the night was spent just hanging out, watching a movie and looking at the last 2 years of Project Life.
Now I'm ready to say.........................
