MANDALA, LEAVES AND MORE LEAVES

Happy Mandala Monday!! I'm happy to be sharing another nature beauty with you this week. This is one of the few that I made with our sunflowers, sadly I didn't get to make too many even with all the sunflowers out there. This one is fall colors too which is my favorite!! The petals I picked up off the ground and took one of the last sunflowers still in one piece to make this. I added some little greenery weeds from the ditch around it. Made this inside on my tablecloth so the colors would should nicely.

I'm joining Dawn this week again where she inspires us with her amazing mandalas. Please stop by to see hers and others creating something beautiful. Feel free to join in with us too, it's fun!
The girls raked up what little bit of leaves we have in our yard. It was the perfect amount for these little ones to play in though. I loved watching them and seeing the absolute JOY they were having. Lucky wasn't so sure, kept going in them and then backing away afraid of them. Here's more pictures.
I loved seeing them play and enjoy the leaves! Notice how the leaves are only brown
my mom stopped by while we were in the leaves and gave me these pretty COLORFUL leaves in a little basket. Isn't that the sweetest gift ever, made my day so much. I have been sketching and painting them all weekend. Will be sharing them soon! THANKS MOM!!

It's been the perfect fall weather weekend, kinda like summer actually. YAY LOOOOVE THIS!!

See you tomorrow for T TIME.... thanks so much for reading and your comments! HUGS!

  2. Good morning! what a spectacular mandala today~ it reminds me of embroidery! as a matter of fact, at first, that is what I thought it was, lol
Ahhhh, fall-- what a sight that must have been all those kids jumping and running through the leaves grinning and laughing and squealing.

  3. I go offline a few days and what happens? You post several thing I haven't read.

This is a beautiful mandala. I agree with Dawn. It looks embroidered. Probably the background you put it on, which in my opinion is as important as any other part of the piece.

This one screams autumn. The colors are bold, the pieces are vibrant. I really love it.

Now I'm off to see what else I've missed, but wanted to see the mandala before I looked elsewhere.

  7. Hi, Dawn! Today's mandala looks like a midnight sun!. Bold, bright and dramatic colors. I LOVE the delicate grassy flower/leave circling outside the sun ... reminds me of the ice crystal halo you would normally see appears around the sun or so called a 'sun dog'. Very mysterious and special!.

How fun these lil ones playing. I saw a video that went viral on Yahoo, about a dog playing with a mountain of leaves, made by his master. So cute that your dog wasn't quite sure about the game yet. Maybe soon!. HUGS.
