  1. wow... that's an awful lot of red white and blue :) Pretty though... Is it right to wish a happy memorial day?... I have no idea on the etiquette of these things :)

  2. yes that is a lot of red/white/blue I have even more in my house and will be wearing it today too can't get enough of it this time of year thru labor day. I'm not sure the proper etiquette of saying Happy for Memorial Day. For me it's my way of saying to be happy with your loved ones and be happy to be where we are today and blessed for those before us who fought for us. So I'm just going with my feelings here is all. Hope you have a wonderful day. Thanks for stopping by and glad blogger is working for you again.

  3. Dawn - thanks for the comment over on my blog. My theme for the Sketchbook Project is I Remember You. Still in the vision stage. We do have lots of similar projects, hobbies. One thing I stopped doing at the beginning of the year was looking at the gallery posts until after my month's project was done. I found it way too intimidating if I looked before I started or during the process. There's some amazing work out there and I haven't grown enough confidence in my work to not let it throw me. So I'm trying very hard to enjoy the process and be me in my work. Now when I go to the galleries I look for things I can use in future projects - techniques or new ways to use product rather than compare my work (or I try). My email is laew@aol.com Let me know if you need any help with One Little Word.

  4. Hi Lynn, thanks for stopping by here. It makes me happy to know I'm not the only one a little intimidating by the gallery and all the projects. That is a great tip about not looking at the gallery till the end of the month. The theme you picked out for your sketchbook is a neat one. I can't wait to see your ideas for it. Hope I can join in on this one, looks so fun. Talk to you soon.
