December Daily.....day 15

This is the best part of the holidays for my kids, making gingerbread houses. Nothing fancy, just their own creations and having fun. I never did these as a kid so I love that we started this tradition and they can pass it down to their kids. It was very hard to select the pictures for today but I'm trying not to overdue it on my printer ink. These two photos are the makings of them and the finished houses. They did a great job this year, some years one of theirs always caves in.

  1. Great pictures Dawn! I also love you scrapbook paper that you used. All the cousins are coming to our house on the 23 rd to make houses. I am going to hot glue grahm crackers to the sides and tops of small milk cartons and then hot glue the milk carton to a white paper plate. Then they will decorate!

  2. That's a great idea Becki, we've only used white frosting and sometimes it doesnt' work that good. I will remember your idea for next year. Thank you for the comments. On the 23 we will be making cookies with the cousins, lol.

  3. Dawn,
Thanks for stopping by my blog and the sweet comments on my DD album. Yours is looking fantastic!
To answer your question, yes, the paper my son wrote his Santa letter on was scrapping paper. I'm so sorry, I can't remember the company off hand! Merry Christmas!
