My first zucchini bread and thanks to my husband

Thanks to my dear sweet husband for thinking of me and planting zucchini for me in the garden. This is our first time growing it and now we have tons. I made these three loaves yesterday and plan on making more. It is so yummmmy!! My mom is also giving me a recipe for zucchini brownies too. I also have to say what a lucky girl I am to have a thoughtful, hard working, sweet, helpful, positive, fun loving guy for my husband. He does so much for me and the kids and never complains and is always positive on any subject. The way he supports me and the things I love always warms my heart. He did some nice things extra surprise things for us this weekend and totally changed my plans for yesterday to going out and having fun things and we had a great Sunday. He is always there when I need him for anything, anytime. Thanks again sweetie for such a great weekend and can't wait to play some more this summer.

I only got some of my list done and the house is a wreck since we played all day yesterday. So today will be a cleaning and art making kinda day I think. Hope everyone had a good weekend.

  2. I was bursting with love and pride. It's the small things he does daily for me and I try so hard to let him know. He feels second fiddle to the kids a lot so I have to remind myself that he needs some TLC too.

Good luck on your zukes, they grow so fast, I froze some and going to make more bread. It's so addicting.

  3. I made zucchini bread a little while ago for the first time... gorgeous! I used the John Barrowman recipe... so moist and scrummy!

Your family really is wonderful - it's great to read about what's happening and how everyone is doing :)
