So glad we got these few moments today. I can remember the little girl in her still but more and more each day is that strong, independent, beautiful, young woman is just bursting to get out. Out of my 4 kids she's the one that is most like me and looks like me. Slow down sweet girl and let's enjoy these last 4 years at home before going out into the big world. Love you bunches!!

  1. Oh my stars Dawn, great photos of your sweet daughter. How clearly i can remember being that age and just barely beginning to like my mom again. So glad she obliged for your photo shoot, she probably made your day...month even. =)))))
I love it too when i ask Gibson if I can take his picture, if he says no, I'm kinda crushed but I don't push it. When he says yes, boy oh boy do I snap away!
So happy you captured her like this. Is she really going to be 16 or am I doing the math wrong?

  2. Andrea, thanks for stopping by. We are on that hate/love line right now actually. Some days we like each other and others are horrible. Today and right then though was magical for both of us. It is tough when they don't want their photo taken and I get bummed. She isn't going to be 16 yet, she's 14 1/2 right now. She is starting high school though in the fall so our world is about to change big time now. So these are very precious to me.

  4. Thank you Becki, I loved her hair too. She's done it that way twice this week now. Who knows maybe she will change her ways this summer. She always surprises me.
